Hi, my name is Daniel Schulte. I have been training and competing in Sport Karate for 10 years at the local, state, regional and national level. As a member of the Amerikick National Team, I have traveled to many cities to compete, including Philadelphia in March 2014.
This year, I have an opportunity to take my karate to a new level. I have been selected to represent the United States at the World Kickboxing and Karate Association (WKA) Karate World Championships. The United States team will travel to Italy to compete in the United World Championships beginning October 28, 2014. It is an honor to be selected to compete for the United States against the world's best in Karate, Taekwondo and Kickboxing. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and I plan to make it count!
But I need your support. Each athlete must pay for our own uniforms, transportation, lodging and food. We estimate it will cost each competitor more than $5,000. So sponsorships, contributions, donations, spare change, anything helps! And it all adds up, even a small contribution is appreciated.
